Did you know that googling consumes water? 90% of our economy needs water and yet its value remains surprisingly hidden. With 233m3/ hab. in 2018, the European Union is one of the largest water consumers in the world. Therefore, quality and quantity of water are two key challenges for Europe.

Since the previous edition in 2020, the world has changed a lot. Europe needs to secure its autonomy and strengthen its diplomacy to face the new challenges such as the Brexit and the COP21.
How can the EU water ecosystem contribute to building a Global EU leadership beyond its water diplomacy? Participate in Water innovation Europe 2021! A Water-Smart Society starts where the innovative actors are.
